Crazy given this is normally a quiet period for us, what with everyone on various holidays, BUT we’ve just had a record month in July! Membership is at an all time high, we have had 30, 40, even 40++ at classes and every week all our 8 small group Personal Training sessions are full so much so we’ve had to put extra sessions on!
Lots to update you all on from July including the ’Summer timetable’, our ‘Attendance Leaderboard’, the latest ‘Member of the Month’, small group PT dates/times. We have loads of new things coming up – SFC picnic in the park, brand new ‘small group Boxing Blitz’ sessions and new classes in Guildford and Cranleigh!

We have a tie! Top of the Leaderboard in July are both Gavin and Becky with 26 sessions each in 31 days! 🏆
Becky managed 19 classes and 7 small group Personal Training sessions with Gavin getting to 23 classes and 3 small group Personal Training sessions! Cracking effort 👏
New entries in the top ten this month include Jenn and Libby who have both had a fab month hitting it hard and getting to lots of classes and PT sessions!

Nicky Bell – July ‘Member of the Month’ winner!
At her last class before her wedding, we gave our latest ‘Member of the Month’ to Nicky – rewarding her incredible dedication and effort she has shown in the last six months.
Nicky joined us earlier this year wanting to lose some weight and get in shape for her wedding and boy has she smashed it!
She looks stunning – she’s lost weight, completely changed shape and transformed her fitness. She has made it to 3-4 classes a week virtually every week with a couple of small group Personal Training sessions every month to keep her focussed. Probably the most impressive thing is Nicky managing to knock the chocolate and crisps out of her diet for a few months – mental!! We couldn’t do it for 24 hours if we tried (we won’t!).
Nicky should be very proud of the results and fully deserves this recognition – we’ve had members tell us for the last two months how she should win this award and we think today being her last class before the big day was perfect timing.
She has become a big part of Surrey Fitness Camps and is hugely popular with everyone.
We hear that her wedding was awesome and she looked the nuts….hit the honeymoon hard and we’ll pick up the pieces in a few weeks!
August small group Personal Training & new ‘Boxing Blitz’ sessions!
Looking to REALLY ramp up your fitness? Why not add a weekly small group Personal Training session to your weekly routine? These sessions will push you harder, get you fitter faster and in fantastic shape.
Each week we do 8 semi-private small group Personal Training sessions in Godalming that are open to anyone to join costing just £15 so a super affordable way to have a Personal Trainer. Sessions are for groups of 4-5 only and are held at Holloway Hill Recreation Ground in Godalming.
Over half of all members do our small group Personal Training sessions alongside classes with the small group strength and conditioning sessions a perfect compliment to our classes!
We have very limited availability in August with September dates on sale on the 17th August. There is the odd space available through August so check out the dates & times and drop me an email if you fancy doing a session or two!
New for September is ‘PT Boxing Blitz’! In groups of just four members you will be expertly taught Boxing technique, combinations and perfectly master all boxing skills.
If you are interested in these Boxing based PT sessions drop me an email back so I can form groups for September at a day/time that suits those keen!!
Summer timetable and new venues for September!
We are running a FULL timetable this summer! All classes remain in the timetable with the only adjustment being our mid-week morning classes starting at 9am rather than 9:30am.
In September our Guildford classes will have three classes a week and we aim to start new classes in Cranleigh!

Niamh climbs to the top of Kilimanjaro!
Massive well done to our member Niamh (and family!) who has just trekked to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro no less!
5895 metres is some going, almost as hard as our Thursday morning Personal Training session Niamh said!
Nice of Niamh to dress like Mark on a hot summers day to acknowledge us at Surrey Fitness Camps at the summit! Well done to the Harmsworth’s on the amazing achievement. Of course the biggest challenge awaits with six weeks in France for the summer and trying to come back to us in September with less damage compared to last year!
SFC picnic in the park
The next social gathering is being organised by Rich, our ‘Head of extra Curricular Activities’ which will be on Saturday 24th August at Holloway Hill Rec. Meeting from 2pm it’s a picnic, maybe with a few games chucked in (Kelly Mc suggested ‘spin the bottle’). Bring your kids, dogs, food, booze etc and pop along!
